Training
Learn how to interview, manage and work alongside people with Social Communication Difference such as being on the Autistic Spectrum.
We introduce a framework within which to consider behaviour that will contribute to decision making which has reduced bias.
By doing so we help you increase:
understanding of social communication differences in the workplace
awareness of different world experiences which may contribute to employee performance
confidence to give feedback to employees with social communication difference
We have considerable experience in supporting people with social communication differences such as being on the Autistic Spectrum in professional roles in N Ireland. Our team work with Actor and Illustrator Patrick Sanders to role play true-to-life situations. According to Learning Development theorists Moreno (2012) and St George et al (1999) drama based learning using the sophisticated improvisational skills of professional actors helps develop the empathetic communication skills of participants with their colleagues, clients and customers. We think its more fun too!
