Specialisterne NI is a Community Interest Company that is not for private profit. We support autistic and neurodivergent people to get read for, secure, and sustain rewarding careers. We combine recruitment, and business sector knowledge with listening to autistic and neurodivergent people to support neurodivergent people to bring a different perspective to business, and that in doing so N. Ireland’s businesses do better.

By donating time, skills, or money, or by using Specialisterne NI’s services, you help us help more people which gets us closer to fulfilling our aim of contributing locally to Specialisterne’s global aim of one million jobs for neurodivergent people.

Specialisterne’s Founder, Thorkil Sonne, who started Specialisterne in Denmark in 2004, comments that we can’t do this alone:

Specialisterne NI’s Manager has completed Social Return on Investment Practitioner Training with Social Value UK so that SROI methodology can be used in our practice. That means we ask our clients and candidates to measure the value of what we do, we ask tricky questions about what is or is not helping, and we keep working until we make actual differences in the lives of neurodivergent people in N. Ireland.

    Specialisterne NI is a not for private profit Community Interest Company. Every pound donated helps us support autistic and neurodivergent people in N. Ireland and creates awareness of the skills neurodivergent people bring to NI workplaces. With your help we can create a better society for neurodivergent people in N Ireland.

  • VOLUNTEERING

    A small team, Specialisterne NI welcomes the interest and support of our network of mentors who donate time and skills to help autistic and neurodivergent people prepare for careers. Many of our mentors are neurodivergent themselves. Whether you can offer administrative support, mentoring, technical or skills training, we would love to hear from you. With your help we can create a better society for autistic and neurodivergent people in N Ireland.

  • FUNDRAISING

    Companies or individuals are invited to work with Specialisterne to create fundraising initiatives, from Lego building marathons to sponsored hackathons. We will work with you to engage your staff to help support us in our aim of creating a better society for autistic and neurodivergent  people in N Ireland. As a Community Interest Company that is charitable in nature and not for private profit, every pound raised goes to creating better opportunities for neurodivergent people in NI workplaces.
