Recruit+/++ participants visit RealTime

Recruit+/++ participants are looking forward to visiting RealTime ( tomorrow to meet with RealTime’s Josh Oliver ( who is answering Recruit+/++ participants’ questions about working with recruitment agencies. Participants’ questions include:

What do we need to do to help you help us?

Sharon Didrichsen, of Specialisterne NI, a social enterprise which specialises in Autism in work, comments:

Recruit+/++ programmes were designed with input from autistic and non-autistic people, including job seekers, employers and autistic people already in work. We discovered that a number of autistic people had not contacted recruitment agencies. Recruit+/++  include working with recruitment consultancies to help participants be up to date with employer requirements and expectations, and access increased job opportunities, being introduced to and briefed on jobs with the support of recruitment consultants. Having come from a recruitment consultancy background myself, I know that often recruitment consultants help employers see the skills match of  candidates who may face barriers to getting work. Partnering with Recruit+/++ is an extension of that. We are delighted that RealTime are supporting Recruit+/++ and are looking forward to the participant briefing tomorrow.

RealTime’s Josh Oliver comments:

“After meeting with the Sharon and her team and attending an event earlier this year, RealTime are proud to be associated with the great work Specialisterne NI are doing!

We are strong advocates of breaking down barriers for those who are on the Autistic Spectrum. We are keen to help out in whatever way we can in order to facilitate meaningful employment to participants on Recruit+/++ initiatives.”

Recruit+/++ are 2 employability programmes which are currently welcoming expressions of interest from people on the Autistic Spectrum, and also from employers who would like to contribute to these exciting programmes. ( For further details please contact Mobile 07565 936191
